Join us on March 15th at Sutton's General Store in Granville, TN for our first of many classes to be held at the beautifully restored 19th century general store.
This Bread Making class will explore the basics of creating yummy yeast breads from scratch, without a bread machine. Each student will create their own batch of cinnamon rolls with a simple icing glaze to sample during the class then take home to share with their family. Then students will all help create 2 loaves of "quick rise sourdough" bread to hone their kneading skills. Students will also make their own starter and receive recipes to take home and keep the tradition going. Then we will indulge in a slice of our own sourdough bread with fresh butter that each student will make.
